Trauma experts have explored the role that creative arts can play in the healing and recovery process of veterans and military service members suffering from post-traumatic stress or traumatic brain injury. Warriors in the North highlights this creative work in the Red River Valley with an art exhibition directed by HCSCC and the Fargo VA Health Care System and produced by local veterans, including portraits from Dr. Ken Andersen, paintings by a local combat veteran, and masks, music, and writing projects depicting experiences of trauma and recovery.
